MacBook Air screen going pixelated during shutdown

I’ve just noticed that my MacBook Air is showing a grey and black pixelated screen every time I shut it down. It has no effect on how the laptop works but is just annoying as I worry that there may be something wrong with the screen. I have recently updated my Mac to macOS Monterey version 12.4 so wondered if this is what’s causing it? I don’t remember dropping or damaging my Mac at all so don’t think it could be a hardware issue. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

Here is a photo of the screen:

Hi,

I think it's not a big issue, though if you concern about it, try to contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to check your screen. It's free if it just checks it.

If it's operating properly, there's not really anything you can do until something fails, if it ever fails.

My 2016 MBP has always flashed colors with a certain background at shutdown and a raster effect like yours. I just ignore it. Been doing that for two years starting right after a logic board replace.
