I have an iPad Pro with software update 15.5 IOS. I am experiencing issue with closing windows. If several windows are open and double click to see the open windows, I am unable to swoop upward to close. I have to re-boot my iPad. That rectifies the problem but it happens several times a day. Does anyone know why this is happening? It just started about a month ago.

Starting from basics - in case something is being missed with basic operation and gestures…
Swipe upwards from the bottom edge of the screen - to the centre - and pause briefly before lifting your finger from the screen. This will open the Task Switcher - and will show a small window for each of your open Apps, with the most recently opened to the right of the screen. From here you can swipe right or left to scroll through your open Apps.
Individual Apps can be closed by swiping the associated thumbnail off the top of the screen.
The above instructions did not help. I can double-click my button at the bottom of my iPad which opens all the windows. When I try to swipe up to close the windows nothing happens. That is when I have to reboot my iPad. This is something that starting happening in the last couple of months.
