Unable to buy AirPods online with an international card

I'm trying to buy airpods for a friend to be delivered to him in the US. I live in Belarus, the cards I use are issued in Belarus. During checkout I don't get any error message - just get back to the page with order review. When I try to pay on my phone using Apple Pay - all I get is Payment not Complete.

I suspect this could be because of the issuer country being blocked or something but there's no error message describing it, nothing. I could make payments before - if it changed, why there's no error message?

The card works with Apple Pay, it's in USD, doesn't have any limitations applied. So what's wrong with it?

I found out the reason - this particular bank is having issues with processing payments on MasterCard type of cards - as simple as that. I still have no idea why no error was shown and who should be responsible for showing - Apple or the bank.

So the question is closed.

I couldn’t find a way to reach directly (except calling them which isn’t an option for me) - first link offers to choose a device I’m having issues with (my devices are okay) or find a repair store. Second link isn’t helpful either - I have only one card in USD (no option to change payment method for me - PayPal is accepted registered for the US only) and it works for other purchases within US (open a new card isn’t a good solution). Besides there were no activities within the card from the store, I see no ‘declined’ messages, no activities within the bank details meaning it wasn’t even reached to take a payment, so it looks like declined by Apple without even a message to me on what’s going on.

So right away I see no reason for the card not to work, except for something hidden…
