Getting the iPhone keyboard on an iPad Mini 5

I would like to get the default iPhone keyboard on my Mini to replace the latter’s default, which I don’t like for use with a stylus. What is the iPhone’s keyboard called and how can I go about getting it? The Add Keyboard in Settings on my Mini only shows other languages. Thanks,

Your iPad mini has native support for the full on-screen keyboard, split-keyboard and the floating keyboard.


You can add other keyboards using an appropriate App purchased from the App Store; perhaps you’ll find something more appropriate for your needs. A popular alternative keyboard is Typefinity - although this may not be what you’re looking for:
