32GB (two 16GB) of 2666MHz DDR4 memory; four SO-DIMM slots, user accessible

Does Apple mean by this statement that the iMac 27 inch 2020 can be upgraded by the user by adding two further 16GB DDR4 memory?

+1 the max for a 2020 27' is 128GB

To purchase compatible RAM, visit OWC or Crucial.

In addition it is unlikely that you will ever need or use 128GB of RAM.

A more modest upgrade like adding 2 16GB or perhaps 2 32GB module is generally adequate.
