No text tone, iPhone 13
I’m receiving texts but not getting an alert or tone. I have an iPhone 13. I have checked notifications and do not disturb, nothing seems out of sort, yet no tone.

We understand that you're not hearing notifications for your Messages app, correct?
Have you possibly muted your notifications or scheduled a notification summary? You can learn how to check if your notifications have been muted here: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
If you haven't muted your notifications, you can refresh their settings. You can go to Settings > Notifications > Messages, turn off Allow Notifications, restart your iPhone then follow the same path back to enable notifications again.
