Accessing iPhone of Deceased Loved One

Is there any way to access a deceased loved one's iPhone? The phone has a passcode. I would love to be able to get photos off of the phone, but I do not know the passcode. I've been told Apple can remove the passcode, but it will erase everything stored on the phone. Is there any way to work around the passcode that will not erase photos and other media on the phone? Thanks!

Unlock deceased daughter's iPhone to get her children's photos and videos My daughter recently passed away. We have her iPhone 11 but entered an incorrect pass code so the phone is locked. It hasn't been used in over 6 months. We charged it and would like to open it to retrieve photos and videos of her two children and her. How do I do this without erasing all those precious memories on the phone?
