Hotspot No Internet Since iOS 15.5 update

Anyone know how to fix this issue? Was using hotspot daily with no problem to connect to my PC laptop. Upgraded to iOS 15.5 and suddenly it won’t work. I can still connect, but it says “no internet.” I have tried all the usual solutions e.g. restarting, resetting network, renaming, etc. Some threads from a couple years ago recommend doing ipconfig /release and /renew on PC, but that fails because it says no network connection or something. So it’s not even getting far enough for that. Anyone with a real solution, I’d be grateful. If Apple gives me the boilerplate response about restarting etc I’m going to lose my mind!!!

I have exactly the same issue. Personal hotspot works great prior IOS upgrade to 15.5, computer still show connect to the phone’s hotspot, but does not get an IP address. Looks like the DHCP server is not working. I have contact my carrier, they have tried to reset, and I have reboot my phone, changed ID, reset SIM card, changed WiFi key. Nothing work.

I'm having a similar problem.

If I connect a 1st device to my iPhone 15.5 hotspot, when I try and connect a 2nd device to the same hotspot, often but not always, the 1st device gets kicked off with loss of internet connectivity.

The only way I've found to get both devices to reconnect is to reboot the iPhone.

I suspect an enduring bug in the IOS DHCP server code...enduring because I also obervered this issue in older IOS's.

Here's hoping that Apple would fix this in the next IOS release.
