i need to connect a dual monitors / displays to my macbook air 202 mi laptop - I was able to successfully connect 1 additional monitor with a caldigit doc with 2 hdmi but the second display is not recognized by my laptop - any help would be appreciated

AFAIK, it does not support the use of two external displays, only one external.
Hi,
Officially, only one external monitor is supported to connect to your MacBook Air.
I'm not sure there is another monitor could connect to your MacBook Air.
