iPhone 11 Pro losing connection to Bovee WMA1000

I'm trying to use a Bovee WMA1000 to be able to stream from my iPhone 11 Pro via Bluetooth to my car's stereo system.

I can pair the phone with the device and see the phone appearing in the car stereo as 'iPod'. I can even start to playback. However after a while, it can be anything from 2-30 minutes, the phone loses connection. It continues to play, but its not connected to the BT device so I hear nothing.

If I reset the device, by unplugging from the car and plugging back it, it works again. Then drops out and we start the cycle again.

From reading around I see that other people have had this issue with the iPhone 11 Pro and wondered if anyone had found a solution? Or is managing to stream to the Bovee device using a later iPhone on iOS 15.

If upgrading to a later phone will fix it, its an option I'm willing to consider.

Hey Michael,

The first step we recommend is ensuring your iPhone is fully updated. If an update is needed, be sure to back up your iPhone first: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Although this resource is for when you can't connect, there are some great steps that can help with randomly disconnecting too: If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the behavior continues after updating, do other Bluetooth devices work as expected with your iPhone or do they disconnect too? Keep us posted.

Take care!
