Of late, specifically since the most recent update, I can’t retrieve mail on either my iPad or iPhone. OTOH it still comes in on my desktop iMac. I’ve tried the suggestions on the support page to no avail. Help?

What did your mail provider say when you reported the issue to them?
Problem sorted! I got in touch with my provider and explained the situation. Their first attempt worked to get a log in issue fixed with my iMac but proved to be temporary as the matter resurfaced within hours. A second call put the problem in the hands of a higher caste of technicians and, so far, has worked with normal service resumed. I have had no actual explanation yet but am supposed to get a call later on today.
I have the same problem with my phone on cellular from a different provider so assumed it was the phone.
I have the same type of problem too having got iOS 15.5 - my emails won’t update but I can get them on my laptop - has anybody found a solution, please?!
Since iOS 15.5 no incoming mail on mobile devices but still on iMac. Why?
