Shouldn't a brand new MacBook Pro - received in June 2022 come with Big Sur?
My came with Monterey:
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.4

It should ship with the most recent compatible version of Mac OS, in this case it would be Monterey.
Never mind. Brain fart. For some reason I was thinking Big Sur was the latest.
Check for the manufactured date of the mac, if it's get manufactured on the latest date then apple will provide the latest pre-installed OS version if the manufactured date or it seems older version you can update the OS version from the system update option in the system preferences to the latest version it's a quite easier step.
I tried to delete this question, since it was kind of a brain fart. But I couldn't figure out how. Is that not possible?

Only the Hosts can delete posts. In this case, I'd say marking your own post as solved is the correct thing to do as you figured out the answer. Mostly, though, I wouldn't worry too much about it. ;-)
