Hello I have been an android girl all my life. New to iPhone in the last 2weeks. Can't recall that first week for sure but I’m seeing this type of image more frequently. It fixes itself. It looks like it's trying to develop a picture on the screen/ downloading colors maybe? I’m just wondering is this normal for Iphone?

Also, if I could get a second question in about a symbol /icon. I’m in the picture gallery I’m looking at pictures in right hand corner of the screen is a box with lines in it. I push it it turns blue but I’m not seeing what it’s doing or can’t figure it out? Try googling it and having the hardest time I cannot finding an answer. what does that symbol or icon do if you know? thank you all for your assistance have a good night.
