Hi I want to be able to use universal control with my iPad Pro (2020). I know that Monterey 12.4 is released now and supports it but my M1 MacBook Air only tells me that my device is up to date and running MacOS Monterey 12.0.1.
Anyone know why this is the case and what I need to do to get the latest update? I am based in Australia and my iPad is running iPadOS 15.5.

A - As of May 16, 2022 the current version is 12.4
A - If the Software Update Applet is not finding the Monterey 12.4 that is a different matter
A - Suggestion is to run the below Terminal Commands
The first command will only look for updates and should offer a Monterey 12.4
softwareupdate -l
The second command will List Full Versions of installer this computer Qualifies to run and should list Monterey 12.4
softwareupdate --list-full-installers
The third command will commence the download of Monterey 12.4 and place a new application on Applications Folder called " Install Monterey "
softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 12.4
The User ( you ) will need to Launch this application just like any other Application
