Email Account Recovery on iPhone

This is half a question and half an observation. I’ve been using apple products since 1997 which is likely longer than many users. One annoying thing is the inability to retrieve email account passwords on any apple device. This is something that apple has continuously overlooked for years now. When someone asks about this, it seems as if there is a tactic to refer to the ‘Passwords’ feature in Settings - knowing full well this won’t help!

Thus my question is: Will this change anytime soon? I’m sure many have suffered this frustration!

I’m not “apple-bashing” here. I’m just frustrated at an apparent unwillingness to address something.

My Keychain contains all my email passwords, because when I set them up on the computer web browser it remembered them. If you didn't then what can Apple do to put them there? They are third party applications anyway.

Similarly only change your email passwords on a computer browser and accept the invitation for keychain to remember them.

You can add them to iPhone Passwords settings using the + button.

Ensure Keychain is toggled on in iCloud settings.
