Right Powerbeats Pro earbud disconnects even when charged

My right Powerbeats Pro continues to disconnect even though it has at least 55% battery remaining.

I have already tried previously posted solutions and solutions which Apple support always redirects users: carefully cleaned the earbuds and case, disconnected then reset the earbuds/case connection to my iPad/iPhone, confirmed iOS is up-to-date on both devices, confirmed that the earbud is sitting properly in the case. None of this has worked and it continues to be an issue. The warranty on them, of course, has just expired.


I need a resolution that doesn’t require me to shell out hundreds of dollars for a fix or new Powerbeats earbuds. I bought these expensive earbuds mainly because of their advertised “long-lasting” battery charge. Now their worth is akin to a cheap set of earbuds.


Has anyone come across a solution that permanently resolves this or is this a lost cause?
