I need help with my phone I am going to factory reset it but it’s not factory setting when I go into the settings I need to know how to do it annually

That is not working when I do it it is not resetting so how can I do it annually?????
How do I factory reset my iPhone at annually because when I go to settings and put factory reset my phone it will not it just cleans it but it does not factor reset it
