During the set-up process of a newly purchased ipad ... I enabled the passcode requirement.
I used the ipad for at least a year and the passcode was always required. Recently, my ipad was not used for about eight days - afterward, the first time I powered-up my ipad a passcode was NOT required. Also, my bookmarks were all moved around.
It's concerning that all of a sudden my passcode is not required. Any thoughts?
A possible explanation might be that somebody else, who may be knowledgeable of the iPad Passcode, has accessed your iPad.
Consider changing the Passcode to something entirely different - and ensure that only you have knowledge of it.
