Final Cut: where do I find the film which I made in the test version in the version I paid for? I can’t find the film…

It’s in the library, the purple icon with four stars. If you were working in the default it’s called Untitled in the Movies folder. Just double click it to launch FCP.

The projects are inside your library. The application always opens the last library that was open (unless you've reset your preferences). Select the library in FCP and open Smart Collections. There's a Smart Collection for All Projects. All the projects in the library are listed in there, regardless of the event the project is in.
For an excellent introduction to FCP start with Steve Martin’s 60 minute intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqUP7Zgeuck. For a more in depth introduction try the IzzyVideo tutorials. The version is a bit dated but the principles are the same.
Your "films" are all in libraries. Do you remember the name of the library? Try doing a Finder search.
I don't understand. Move the trial version to the trash. The version you purchased from the App Store should be in the Applications folder. If you double click the library it should launch the purchased version.

But if I may suggest, take some time to follow the great and free introductory course at izzyvideo. It will get you up to speed on this and a lot more and it will save you time and headaches down the line.
Great help I found everything in the library - but I had to update it to the new version and then I can see the film I made with a test version - thanks a lot!!!
Yes You are right: I found in the library the different versions I made. BUT…the Test Version was already running out so they ask me to stop or to buy. I can’t open the former versions.
And I already bought Final Cut Pro and can’t find the film anymore…
OK I deleted as you said the old test version and made a double click on the version I just bought. But still can’t find the film. There is another film I made before with the test version - but not the film I’m looking for…
