Final Cut: where do I find the film which I made in the test version in the version I paid for? I can’t find the film…

It’s in the library, the purple icon with four stars. If you were working in the default it’s called Untitled in the Movies folder. Just double click it to launch FCP.

The projects are inside your library. The application always opens the last library that was open (unless you've reset your preferences). Select the library in FCP and open Smart Collections. There's a Smart Collection for All Projects. All the projects in the library are listed in there, regardless of the event the project is in.


For an excellent introduction to FCP start with Steve Martin’s 60 minute intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqUP7Zgeuck. For a more in depth introduction try the IzzyVideo tutorials. The version is a bit dated but the principles are the same.
