Usually, all Messenger notifications that popped up on my iPhone Lock Screen automatically disappeared as soon I read them on the computer. Recently they started to just sit there as if they hadn't been read.
Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks for confirming that information! If the app itself and the software have already been updated on the iPhone, then the next thing you can do, is to remove the Messenger app and then reinstall it. This will help with isolating this issue.

If the issue remains after reinstalling and this is only happening with the Messenger app, then we suggest that you reach out to the Messenger Help Center.

Are you referring to the Messages app or the third-party Messenger app? Does this same thing happen with notifications from other apps or just this specific app?
If this is the Messenger app, do you have any available updates for it in the App Store?
