Heated pretty fast under what conditions? Charging generates heat. Using it to do anything graphic intensive, such as playing a game, watching a video, streaming content, content creation, etc., generates heat.

The computer's power/charging system manages the battery very well without your intervention. Leave the computer plugged in when needed or whenever convenient to do so. Leaving the computer plugged in will not damage the computer or the battery. It appears you are worrying about something that the computer can handle. There is no need for you to micromanage the power.charging system.
If indeed, the battery is "overheating", have the computer examined by an authorized service center.
I don't understand if it's overheating or not. I run it plugged in or on battery how ever it's convenient to me at that moment. Also, the battery health dropped by 7% in 25 days, which got me pretty worried mainly.

When you restarted it, the battery management system recalibrated. Not sure why you're concerned about this?

I am a moderate user of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
Usually, a few tabs on chrome & Ai run continuously.
How much should I expect the mac to get heated?
Since you are concerned, and as users only on a user to user only forum, we can't test your device, so schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let Apple check it out for you.
