How do I create a playlist on a device and not share it across other devices on my Apple Music Family Sharing Account?

Hi, yes, I finally figured it out. I had to go to the "media and purchases" option on the iPad and sign out of my Apple ID and sign in under my daughter's Apple ID. This prevented my playlists from showing up on her iPad and she's able to make her own playlists without them showing up on mine. Tech support walked me through it.

Hi lancecole,

When you create a playlist in Apple Music, it will sync to your other devices that are also signed in with the same Apple ID when you have enabled Sync Library on.

Go to Settings > Music of the device you do not want to have the synced playlists on and disable this feature. This will also remove your Apple Music Library. You can stilll listen and browse music in the Apple Music catalog.
