Antivirus

What should I install on my Mac computer for the best antivirus protection? Also should I and what kind of protection should I install on my iPhone and iPad. The only thing I have on my Mac is a Malware program I guess you would call it. It is a funny looking "M" next to the Bluetooth symbol at the top right side of my screen.
