Using Siri MacBook's lid closed

Is there a way to use Siri on MacBook when its lid is closed? I loved to set reminders via voice.

I have external mic (working fine), but seems that Siri can't hear my voice. I have three monitors connected on the mac (via Kensington 5700), and no room for a mac to be open on the desk. So opening the lid is no-option.
