The screen on my iPhone SE 2nd gen stopped responding to touch.

My 2nd generation SE screen stopped responding to touch and I don't know what to do. I am unable to power it off and I have already tried to reset it by pressing volume up, volume down, and then holding the power button. It reset but my screen still doesn't work. Currently I am waiting for the battery to die in hopes that when I charge it again, it will work. Any suggestions?

elsapuppy ~ Does your iPhone SE 2nd gen. still have its original battery?

And, if the screen comes back to life, what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
