Doubt about the Mac studio display and HDR

If I have the Mac studio and the apple studio display, how can I activate HDR for the apple studio display? or i need to go to settings to activate it?

MacOS vs Windows supporting HDR The other day I was comparing my 2020 Base model MacBook Pro to a 4th Gen 12.9" iPad pro, Both were running the same video, But the colours were a bit washed out on the MacBook Pro, Further research suggested this was HDR, I then installed Windows 10 via Boot Camp to find it had a HDR switch in settings, something MacOS didn't have, Thus meaning the colours were far better on windows with HDR enabled, Any one know why there is no option to turn on HDR via MacOS yet windows 10 on the same device had this option? I will add photos soon for a comparison.

Mac Studio Computer I received my new Mac Studio computer but the Studio display is on backorder. Is it okay to set up the computer with a different monitor and then switch later?

The Studio display does not support HDR.
