Motorcycle riding damaged camera.

Can I prevent damage to the camera stabilization if I power off my iPhone while riding my motorcycle?

Update: I took Smilin-Brian’s advice and contacted Apple Support. They said that turning off the iPhone would not change the possibility of the camera’s image stabilization from getting damaged.
