Safari not allowing visual effects on with GoogleMeet

Hi all,

I have been participating in several meetings with colleagues using GoogleMeet. I found that when I went to change my back ground via GoogleMeet's visual affects feature, I got a message saying that my support is not supported.

I am using Safari version 15.5 and Monterey 12.4.

I have read that you need to use Chrome in order to use GoogleMeet's visual effects feature. However I really don't want to install Chrome on my Mac.

Any help would be appreciated.
