Shortcuts Choose From Menu Stalling

I have several shortcuts with home screen icons created that use the “choose from menu” prompt. On my iPhone these get hung up and stall or lag, if I turn the phone off and back on, they work again a few times before they lag again. These same shortcuts work flawlessly on my iPad but do not work well on the iPhone. These shortcuts also work flawlessly if launched from the shortcut app instead of the home screen icon.Using iPhone 12 with iOS 15.5

I am experiencing the exact same problem. Some of my choose from menu are as small as 3 choices and some are as large as 10. That seems to make no difference, they lag/stall until I reset the phone and then work a few times .
