CODA not available with English subtitles

Hello,

After months of waiting for this movie to be released in Spain and reserved in advance I am upset that it is only released with subtitles in Spanish

I live in Spain but we talk English at home and all my account is in English. How a movie that you need subtitles to understand, because is about deaf people, cannot have original subtitles? Even worse as the distributor is Apple itself

Do I have some choice like changing my system language or using VPN?

Thanks!

While the subtitles may be in Spanish only, the audio language would be available in English as well.

Those measures wouldn’t make any difference for this content. Only the country of your Apple ID account (its billing address) matters for this.

Even worse as the distributor is Apple itself

Formally, Apple is the reseller and Vendôme Pictures/Pathé Films/Picture Perfect Federation are the releasing studios for this region, with responsibility for audio (dubbing) and subtitles. They can’t re-use Apple TV+ tracks freely.
