'Front Left' in Audio MIDI Setup
Hello,
In Audio MIDI Setup I tried to combine system audio and a USB microphone (for screen recording):
What does "Front Left" mean?
Is there a choice?
Thank you!

It is difficult to assess from only seeing the one picture of what's going on but it appears that your Blue Snowball input is set to input sound only from its front left channel. Front left meaning the front left (input) of the Snowball.
Some advice:
If the sound you are recording is coming into your Logic input channel evenly on both stereo channels, I would leave things as they are. But, if you see that your stereo input channel is coming into logic as mono or left side only, you will need to decide if you want to input as mono into Logic, or find out how to input in stereo by turning on a "front right" input of your Blue Snowball as well (at least.....).
Also, check to be sure to use the original cables which came with the Snowball, and are in good working order.

Hello Applenaut, and thank you for your answer!
I'm not sure what you mean by "front left (input) of the Snowball"...
The Snowball is a Mono USB microphone.
Even though the input channel identifies as "Front Left"
the microphone appears on both sides of the system audio/microphone mix
(as audio source for my screen recording app) which is what I need.
I was just confused that the microphone input for my "Filmage Aggregate Device"
is called "Front Left" and I suspected a mistake here.
