Can i record from USB while listening via jack on headphones? I want to record my guitar with Garageband but to also hear what i record on headphones. So i am using a USB mixer and today have purchased a USB hub, I have connected the mixer and the headphones to the hub but i either hear the sound or i can record but not both in the same time. Is this a limitation of the ipad or of the hub? What adaptor or hub should i purchase? Thanks

Skeptical about a possible barrier for GarageBand on recent iPads Hi. I have a first-gen iPad Pro, and I am in need of an upgrade to this year’s iPad Pro. Although, I’m an independent artist and musician with a mobile setup. I have a USB audio interface and a studio microphone. When it comes to my headphones, I always plug them directly into my iPad’s headphone jack whenever I’m mixing or recording vocals. That being said, my biggest concern when it comes to upgrading, is that Apple unfortunately removed the headphone jack. That can possibly prevent me from doing what I’m doing to launch my career. How do you record in GarageBand on a recent iPad that has no headphone jack while using a usb audio interface?

GarageBand 48khz recording When will GarageBand support 48khz recording in the app? Is there a reason it doesn’t do this already? I record Voice Overs, and most if not all studios are requiring 48khz recording as a baseline…since I record from home, especially in the last 2 years, GarageBand is no longer an option for me. Is it an enormous problem to allow the app to cord at a resolution higher that 44.1khz? This should be a given, as it is industry standard now…
