My MacBook is 2014 with removable battery. My MacBook doesn’t work with the battery at all, I have tried replacing the batteries multiple times. It did not work. I had to disconnect the battery and use the direct power supply for my MacBook to work. It has stopped working with the direct power supply now and no LED lid up when I plugged the magnetic connector to my MacBook. I have tried using my spare power adapter but same results no power LED.
12" Retina MacBooks do not have user removable batteries. Perhaps you have a 2006-2010 MacBook, MacBook Air, or a MacBook Pro?
There are no 2014 MacBooks, only 2006 to 2010 and 2015 to 2017. Please post to the correct forum area if you have a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro.
