Hello, I'm thinking about getting a new mac mini but wanted to know if I could run my dual monitors (2k) at 144 hz. Thanks!

That might work on a 2018 Mac Mini or Mac Studio using 2 USB-C to DisplayPort cables. Problem is that an M1 Mac Mini only supports 1 display from a USB-C post and 1 display from the HDMI port at 60Hz.

Officially not. You can’t go beyond 60Hz.
I've seen people do this but just with one monitor... So maybe it works only for one monitor?

monitor that run at 144Hz likely also support other refresh rates so it could just have defaulted to 60Hz

Ok I get it, so maybe with a Mac Studio or maybe wait for the M2 chip, right?
