2012 MacbookPro (non retina) Sleep Wake failure in EFI Failure code:: 0x01790875 0x0000001f

Hi there,

I get the following error with my MacBook when the battery seems to be depleted.

The MacBook also randomly goes off while I work on it (does this with the power cable on, as well as when its just running off the battery).

It recently had Kernal panic error codes, (Kernal Panic: 2012 Macbok Pro - Apple Community ) but that just stopped happening and now it seems to be okay other than these sleep wake failure codes.

Anyone understand what this means? (I'm trying to see whether repairing this 2012 MacBook Pro is worth it, or to keep the money to buy a new MacBook Air m1 / m2 instead.

I bought this MacBook second hand and it seems the person I bought it from really did not take the best care of it:
