Download iTunes to what model / year of Mac? What macOS version is it running?

If you are run-in macOS 10.15.x Catalina, 11.x Big Sur or 12.x Monterey, there is no version of iTunes for it.

You instead use the Finder to restore the iPad to factory settings. Link-> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
