I noticed when I text someone with an iphone that the text starts as blue and stays blue for 20-30 seconds but then changes to green. It stays green if I try to text again but then after a few mins it changes to imessage (blue) when I go to send another text. Does this mean I'm blocked by this person? I'm confused as to why it changes back to imessage (blue) after a few minutes if I am blocked. Couldn't find anything online that answers this.

Thanks for the response. I’m aware there will
never be a blocked notification but previously ALL messages were blue and now they switch back and forth, really the texts only go through as sms but they start as iMessage.
That would indicate that either your or your recipient (or both) has intermittent access to a data connection.
You will never receive an indication that you have been blocked.
Messages will move back and forth between iMessage and SMS depending on whether both people have access to an active data connection.
