I had an Acer computer that crashed. I had a lot of purchases on that computer. Is there any way to retrieve all of those songs?

If you purchased them from iTunes, they should be available in your Purchase history on another device, when you log in to the Apple ID that was used to make said purchases: link-> Redownload music - Apple Support
