iPhone battery life short and heating up

Hi,

From last few weeks my iphone 11 pro suddenly becomes hot to touch after about 10 minutes of use. Its also draining battery quickly. Yesterday I went and changed the battery and still it was getting hot and also the fully charged battery went to 20% within 5 hrs of low- moderate use. Per suggestion from Apple team I also did a reset now but its still heating up within few minutes of use. They said my phone didn't show any issues when they did a run. Please help!! 😕

You left out the fact that you had the battery replaced. Important information. You have a 90 day warranty on the battery, it may be failing or the power management IC may be failing. Take it back.

Thanks.. the battery usage differs daily depending on the apps i use. My phone was all cooled down and I just used it now to check this discussion page and within 2 minutes its heating up😕. Its not showing me any warning sign like the apple customer service lady said while i went for battery replacement( overheating warning) but its too hot to touch. I don’t understand why its happening even after replacing battery and factory reset 😕
