Return Address on envelope, how to change the default return address?

Click near the return address to select the text box containing it.

then click on the text to select it.

The orange/peach background, and the fact that one click selects all of the text tells you that this is Placeholder text.

Type the return address as you would normally type it. Your first keystroke will replace the Placeholder text with the first letter of your return address.

When you have finished entering the return address, consider saving this envelope as a Template. Doing this gives you an envelope template with your return address already entered, and with placeholder text where the recipient's address will be entered.

If you expect to have ongoing correspondence with someone at a specific address that is unlikely to change, consider creating an envelope template with your return address AND that person's or company's address both entered on the template, and saving the result as a Pages Document. When you need to address an envelope to that person/company, it's a simple matter of opening the document and printing one copy, then closing th document.
