I have problem with SIM

when I insert the sim it doesn’t get installed , instead it continues searching for signal , I have to put off couple of time in order for the signal to work it might take a day or two , since I bought the phone from abroad the local Apple store doesn’t support iPhone from abroad , if you know any solutions that can be done let me know

Every time I try putting in a sim from another carrier it continues to say "sim not supported" I recently sold me Iphone 6 to someone I know. The phone is from boost and I had already called to get the phone unlocked about two weeks ago, and it isn't attached to any account. For some reason every time I try putting in a sim from another carrier it continues to say "sim not supported" is there anything more I can do? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
