Flash notifications not working iPhone 13 Pro / IOS 15.5 (Bug??)

Hi,

I just moved from an iPhone 12 Pro to 13 Pro, after migrating all data to the new phone, I noticed the led is not flashing on incomming calls and notifications.

I just dit a complete factory reset without a back-up restore, stil not working. The LED does work with the flashlight or camera. Is this an iOS 15.5 bug??

Please let me know.

Could anyone with an iPhone 13 Pro check if this is working on your phone?

Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > LED Flash for Alerts (ON)

Please let me know if this works on your iPhone 13 Pro or not.

Well, eventually.. I found out wat is cousing all the issues with my iPhone;

It is the magnet in the wallet case!

This is the case to be precise;

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Magnetic Detachable Leather Wallet Case - Bouletta – B2B Bouletta

The following issues appear when using this case;

- Sometimes the screen stays black when picking up the phone from sleep.

- The vibration stops after 1 second when the Phone is in the case.

- The LED notifications (if anabled) stop working when used inside the case.

- The navigation apps behave strange (Compass is always pointing in the same direction when inside the wallet).

- Sometimes the screen locking when calling (button hiding, black screen) does not stay on.

So it looks like the magnets in this case mess up a lot of sensors in the iPhone.

So try to remove the case if you have similar issues.

I can't test it on an iPhone 13 (on my XR it works properly).

Well, if even a "forced" restart of your iPhone (using these instructions:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support) doesn't help, and since you noticed that it won't work after a factory reset, as already suggested I would have your device checked.

Does the flash work as torch?

Have you seen and tried the steps provided in this support article?:--> If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working - Apple Support

If the issue persists, since your iPhone is still covered by warranty, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
