Apple silicone MagSafe case sound when attaching

I just tried out an Apple silicone MagSafe case for my 13 pro. When attaching it the phone played a sound and an animation showing the MagSafe circle on the screen. This does not happen with other MagSafe cases. Why is that? Does the phone recognize genuine Apple cases?

Magsafe Popsocket affecting camera or speakers? I bought one of those magsafe pop sockets that attached to the back of the apple iPhone 12 pro cases. I noticed that it magnetically attaches to the bottom of the phone (I think its the speaker and haptic engine). Sometimes it doesn't attach fully and it falls lose in my pocket and will stick to the speakers on the bottom of the phone, or to the back camera. Does this damage the speaker or camera/flash at all?
