My iCal keeps reverting back to entries form Oct and Nov. of 2020 every time I try to make a new future entry in 2022 (the current year). This adds an extra step and is very annoying. What can I do to correct it?

Also, is the issue only occurring when adding events to a specific calendar? You can view a list of your calendars by opening the app and choosing the Calendars option at the bottom? If you're unsure, then let's try adding it to a different calendar if you have multiple ones setup.
