Lost phone. Sms from your service

Hello,

Today I received a text message on my phone number, that my lost iphone XR was found.

I want to know if a message was sent from apple or if it was sent from scammers.

That is a scam message. They are attempting to get you to reply and enter your password so that they can turn off activation lock on the phone.
