Siri not working as expected on MacBook Air M1

For maybe over a month now, Siri on my MacBook Air M1 is not working the way it should. It won't get activated when pressed manually on the keyboard, clicking on the Siri icon in the menu bar, or when called 'hey Siri'. This gets fixed when I restart my Mac, but the issue returns after a day. I could use some good inputs here.
