AirTag battery status

Not sure where this goes since there's no AirTag forum yet.

I just installed a new battery on an AirTag. No particular reason why since I got it about a week ago and have barely used it (still waiting for an AirTag holder to be shipped) but I had a bunch of Maxell CR2032 batteries that I got in bulk quantities at a good price and I trust them not to leak more than other brands.

However, I get that the only way to check the battery status is through Find My on an iPhone or iPad. However, I'm not sure if it's going to show something like an intermediate battery level (like 60% for example) or just like I've seen with many devices where it's either showing a "good" or "low" battery level but nothing in between. I do have a few depleted batteries that I might try and see what happens.
