My iPhone suddenly stopped working.

I have an iPhone 7 that completely stopped working. I was using the phone, and it had like 30-40% battery left, so the battery wasn't the issue here. While I was using it, the screen went black, and it didn't respond to anything. The phone was unresponsive, and it started overheating. after like 30 minutes, it cooled down, and the phone is still unresponsive. The only thing that changed is that the phone is now making a slight buzzing noise while charging. Ever since i had the phone, i haven't dropped it, and i was very careful while using it. I wasn't planning to replace the phone, and that's why I ask, can it be fixed or is it completely dead?
