Someone has been controlling my iPhone through Apple's management software without my consent.

Some nefarious person has been controlling my device through Apples Management software without my consent and has created havoc in my life. How can I remove this illegal behavior? I own my device, bought, no one has the rights.

What details or diagnostic messages or symptoms are being shown here that cause you concern,…

…what have you already done about this, …

… and what then were the results of the changes that you have made?

If no one has access rights and your Apple ID password and device passcode are not compromised, and if there is no management profile provisioned, then there is no remote control through that means.

While an iPhone is not immune to malware, what has been around has been fairly rare and targeted at least so far, or the iPhone user specifically loaded a configuration profile or side-loaded some code.

What do you hope will happen differently here, this time, now, after “dealing with for nearly two years” of working with others including with Apple Support to resolve whatever you believe is happening here?

After resetting and reloading, after password changes to new and unique and robust passwords, after wholesale new passwords, after enabling and using two-factor authentication, and after all the other steps which have undoubtedly already been suggested, and have already been implemented?

All of which and more have undoubtedly been previously suggested, and have been performed.

Having an Apple ID enabled for developer access is free or is a yearly USD$99 subscription (optionally auto-renewed), and is immaterial to what you are reporting. All Apple IDs can run beta software, whether free-tier or paid-tier developer or non-developer Apple ID. And as you’ve previously reloaded your devices, you don’t have any beta software installed.

If you want your Apple ID removed from the developer program, or removed from Apple Business Manager, or both, you will need to discuss that directly with Apple. Nobody here can help with that, as we cannot access your Apple ID and settings and entitlements as established.

Again, I don’t see a path out of this that won’t have already been suggested.

Thank you for the reply, I believe the bad actor could be my ex wife, I found a small instruction manual in her notebook describing how this program can bypass a phone’s security to install.

This problem, I have been dealing with for nearly two years. What else can explain why my setting keep changing, I have reset my phone countless times, I have spoke with Apple support and they have been unable to help me. Additionally, my PC’s, Mac Mini, and older iPad have all fallen prey to whatever is happening.

Also, I have noticed that both my Microsoft Windows and Apple accounts are both Developer Accounts. How can I return these accounts back to normal accounts, that cannot run Beta software?

Please, I really need my privacy back, can anybody help ?

Mr Hoffman,

Why is my apple Account email registered with an Apple Business account, which I never registered. I don’t have an administrator, just me, so who can help me disable the business account?
