Concerned because I downloaded a configuration profile on my phone being dumb

I had no idea what any of this profile stuff was until I did research after I was trying to get free credits to a site through a “tutorial“ video. It really has me freaking out that my personal information could be at risk or my phone or the WiFi/network. It was only for a couple minutes but I guess you never know. I accepted the install and everything. Ive since changed my Apple/iCloud password, lock screen password, and that’s about it. Im sketched out too because the “tutorial” scam said background app refresh needed to be on so that has me scared my debit card or bank info could be at risk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on what was in that profile...

network data among installed apps can potentially be intercepted among various other activities.

It's unknown what else that app might have gotten access into.

The folks running these schemes want all they can get access to, of course.

Whatever happened here has happened.

There's little you can do, past what has already been mentioned.

Absent (not free) forensics on the profile and on the app, what happened is a guess at best.
